I get it guys, choosing the perfect location can be hard. You want your photos to be meaningful and beautiful but you’re also not sure what makes the perfect location. My clients often say they don’t care too much about where their photos are taken as long as they’re either; not too far from home as sunset nears or I believe the location will be magical.
That kind of trust is key.
Here’s my advice:
- Choose a location that has significance to you and your family. For instance, Evan and I had our first day-long date at Military Park. That location has significance to us. The Kryder Family -pictured below- their family fell in love and spent a lot of time in this downtown park. Choosing a location to tell their love story was a no-brainer.
- If a single place isn’t of complete significance, consider if your family prefers nature or a more urban setting. Do you love the cobblestone streets of Lockerbie or the fun atmosphere of Fountain Square.
- What about your home? Lifestyle sessions can produce some ultra-important images of what your life is like at this very moment. Don’t fret that your house isn’t perfectly clean- no ones is.
Wherever you choose, please trust that I will do my very best to tell you love story as beautifully as possible.
Enjoy, the Kryder’s, photographed in beautiful Downtown Indianapolis.
